Jil is the Vice President of Human Resources and Community Relations for Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino and Hotel. She is a Strategic Business Leader, Coach and Partner with more than 15 years’ experience in Human Resources.
She has held Senior leadership and human resources roles with internationally known companies such as Bloomin Brands/Outback Steakhouse, ARAMARK Corporation, and YUM! Brands Inc.
Jil’s many accomplishments include implementing Atlanta’s first youth internship program during her tenure at YUM! Brands, KFC. She also received Pizza Hut’s “Customer Mania” award and was recognized for creating and implementing MU–Manager University.
In 2012, she was named a New Orleans CityBusiness’ “Women of the Year” Honoree, and also received the Work Force Magazines, “Game Changer” Award. In 2014 she received the Most Powerful and Influential Women of Louisiana Award”.
She was a board member with the Boy Scouts of America (Southeast Louisiana Council), Junior Achievement, and UNCF. She served on the Advisory Committee for the City’s NOLA Business Alliance, and the advisory committee for the STEM Initiative, which is focused on bringing a Core Element of successful Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs to New Orleans area schools. She has been newly appointed to the HR Executive and Workforce Magazines Editorial Advisory Board.
Jil is the President of the W.Y.E.N (Women’s Youth Empowerment Network), an organization designed for the empowerment and professional development of women. She was a key note speaker at the 2012 Women’s Final Four Legacy Luncheon.
A married mother of two, Jil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Ball State University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy State University.
