Sol joined Brown- Forman in August of 2012 and is responsible for leading the strategic direction for the Brown-Forman portfolio of brands (including Jack Daniel’s, Southern Comfort & Woodford Reserve among others) across national and regional chain accounts in the US and Canada.
Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Sol spent 15 years at Coca-Cola Enterprises and six years at Pepsi-Cola where she served in a number of leadership capacities that included: Revenue Growth Management and Business Planning, Customer Management, and Sales Operations. She was also selected to lead efforts in Coca-Cola’s Corporate Diversity Council where she chaired the committee committed to improving and developing women and minorities in the organization.
Throughout her career, Sol has also engaged with several community organizations including Boys and Girls Club, Safe Haven (a women’s battered shelter) and Lapiz Rojo (dedicated to providing school supplies in economically challenged areas in Ft Worth TX).
Sol holds a BS in both Business Administration and Political Science from Shepherd University where she was an All American swimmer and record holder for several events. After college she competed in several Olympic distance triathlons. She also attended Johns Hopkins Graduate Program for Leadership.
